The cooking technology tutors at Kitchen Things have been testing recipes in the new Combi Steam ovens and have been super impressed so far. Lauren from Kitchen Things Mt Wellington was generous enough to share one of her favourites with us.
Sticky Drumsticks Oven Settings: Fan Assisted & Steam 60% humidity at 200 C
Ingredients Marinade: 1⁄4 cup tomato sauce 1⁄4 cup hoisin sauce 1⁄4 cup soy sauce 2 cloves garlic crushed 1 chilli chopped finely 2 tsp smoked paprika
8 - 10 chicken drumsticks
Method 1. Mix all the marinade ingredients into a large bowl or ziplock bag. 2. Add the drumsticks and coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least two hours or overnight. 3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on a baking tray. 4. Preheat the oven and place the drumsticks on the second shelf.
5. Cook for 25 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with a side salad and potatoes wedges.
